The Siureks: Roadtrip to Ancramdale

A few weeks ago Justan got a phone call from his friend, Mike, in Texas who told him he had tickets to the Final Four. All Justan needed to do was find a way to get to San Antonio and the rest of the weekend was basically taken care of... This was 5 days before the first games. My first 2 reactions were that I wasn't sure I was ready to be alone with Drew for the 4 days/nights that Justan would be gone but at the same time it seemed like a once in a lifetime opportunity for Justan to go to the Final Four that I couldn't not let him go.

To make a long story short, Justan went to Texas and my dad flew out to Indy to drive with me, Drew and Brady back to Ancramdale for a week's visit. Justan joined us in Ancramdale after the games and we drove back to Indy the following weekend. It was a very unexpected but fun trip. It was great to be in Ancramdale and Drew got to meet some more family and friends while we were there.

Brady and Drew were both really good in the car, they both slept the majority of the trip. The ride only took maybe 1-2 hours more than usual because our stops were longer due to feeding Drew and everything associated with that. I even had my dad give Drew a bottle on the ride home!
