Virtual Christmas Letter

As I reflect back on this year and look through our pictures, it continues to amaze me how fast the boys are growing and how much they have learned this past year.

Drew will be four in February and is as precocious and rambunctious as ever. He started preschool in the fall and his teachers tell us he is doing great at school, very polite and thoughtful... He is also, by far, the LOUDEST singer in his class which have made school programs very entertaining! Drew is playing soccer and this past year transitioned to a class without parents on the field. We were nervous that he wouldn't he able to handle it, but turned out doing great. He also loves anything related to Cars/Cars2 so we took him to the movies for the first time in the spring to see the movie...

Will turns 2 this coming April. He is finally finding his voice and very clearly lets you know what he wants (and what he doesn't want!). He looks up to Drew so much and wants to play with him all the time. He is definitely the thrill seeker in the family, climbing on whatever he can and then giving you the biggest grin because (a) he has accomplished it and (b) he knows he shouldn't be there. Will also loves music and can often be found dancing to anything from nursery rhymes to 'Daddy music'.

Highlights of the Year

Drew's 3rd Birthday

Will's 1st Birthday

Poppy came to visit in April and helped "beautify" our yard.  Drew LOVED being his helper, especially when it came to watering the new plants.

The boys' first baseball game.  Cubs vs Red Sox @ Fenway.  It was cold by the middle of the game.  Drew even shouted that someone should tell the umpire to stop the game because it was too cold...

Drew received this tractor as an extra special gift from Nana and Grandpa.  He drove it around the backyard all summer long. By the end of the summer Will was even able to climb on and get it moving...

Both boys love golf.  Justan has even started taking Drew to the driving range with him.

The highlight of the summer was our trip to NY for my brother's wedding....
Our family with cousin Irelynn...

Drew was a stud in his little suit! He loved everything about the wedding until he crashed at about 10:30 and told us "I want to go to bed, I don't like weddings anymore..."

 Drew's first day of preschool

The boys were both M&Ms for Halloween.   Although not great at posing for pictures, Will got the hang of picking candy out of baskets pretty quickly!

Drew dressed up for his Thanksgiving program at preschool.  He was fantastic!

We have much to be thankful for this holiday season... Peace, love, health and happiness to all!  Visitors are always welcome :-)
