9 months and counting..

Hard to believe that Will is nine months old already! He is truly turning into his own person... and even starting to look less and less like Drew! At his check-up he weighed 19.6 lbs and was 27.5 inches long. 1/2 an inch shorter and almost 4 pounds lighter than Drew at the same age. He is definitely not as big of an eater as Drew was.

We have started giving him finger food though and he digs that way more than any baby food on a spoon. I think he could eat blueberries all day long ;-) We are still waiting for his first teeth to arrive, but he seems to be doing pretty well without them. He is also starting to get the hang of drinking water out of a sippy cup... nice because he never really fell in love with the bottle...

Will's other big news is that he started really crawling over the weekend. He had been getting around on his own for a while by rolling and moving from sitting/laying down and scooting, but we now have a full on crawler on our hands.. and he is getting into the same kind of trouble that Drew got into at his age... mainly the dog's water bowl and the entertainment center below our TV. He will crawl over to those things and then look at you with a little mischievous grin before returning to splashing in the dog bowl or taking all the DVDs off the shelf. Crawling has also made it easier to get to Drew's toys faster... which is something Drew is not quite ready for. He is always quick to offer Will an alternative toy to play with but of course, Will only wants to play with whatever his big brother is playing!
