2 weeks old today

It's hard to believe that the trauma of Drew's birth was only 2 weeks ago. It seems like he has already been a part of our lives for such a long time. We have been enjoying every new thing about him. A couple especially exciting things that happened lately...

Drew weighed in at 7lbs 14 oz on Friday. A full 4 oz over his birth weight. It was a happy moment for me, as his mom, to know that he has been getting enough to eat.

This morning Drew's umbilical cord fell off. It's amazing how gross I always thought they were on other babies, but on my own baby it's kind of neat! Now what do we do with it? Is this something that gets saved for the baby book??

Drew just started enjoying his bouncy seat.

Wide awake in the daytime! Something that I'm happy to say has been happening more and more lately :-)

Sound asleep with his hands in the air. Im not sure how this is comfortable...

Finally, a peaceful sleeping baby.....
